Polymetallic ore flotation refers to two or more useful mineral metallic ore flotation, separation process. It usually has preferential flotation, mixed flotation first, then separating flotation and combined priority and mixed flotation. Just like lead-zinc mine has lead and zinc in preferential flotation and lead-zinc mixed floating farther mixed concentrate after grinding mill (or no longer) again the separation flotation of lead concentrate and zinc concentrate. The advantages and disadvantages of preferential flotation and mixed flotation are as below:

(1) Grinding fineness is directly mixed flotation preferential flotation of coarse, grinding cost can be saved.

(2) The dosage of mixed flotation of flotation machine is less than preferential flotation, flotation reagents also save some.

(3) Preferential flotation production operation more easily, easy to achieve concentrate grade. And the mixed flotation separation flotation, preferential floatation in production operation more difficult.
