Spiral classifier is widely used to form a closed cycle process to split mineral sand with ball mill in ore dressing plants, grade ore and fine mud in the gravity ore dressing plant, or for the pulp size classification in the metal beneficiation process, as well as desliming and dehydration in washing operations. Spiral classifier has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable work, convenient operation, etc.

Introduction

Spiral classifier is one of the important equipment in ore dressing process, and the most commonly used type is spiral classifier, which is also called screw classifier. Spiral classifier carries out mechanical grading by using the principle that different proportion of solid particles have different precipitation rate. It can filter powder in the mill, and then screws the coarse material into the feeding inlet with by the on-chip spiral vane; the fine material will be discharged from the overflow pipe.
Working principle:
The principle used in spiral classifier is that different sizes of crushers have different weights, so their sedimentation rates are also different. In the working process, fine ore grains float on the surface of water, and rough grains sink on the bottom of the cell. Screw grader can classify materials from mill, and then bring the rough grains to the entrance mouth of mill with the help of flights, and discharge the fine ore grins though pipe. The pedestal spiral classifier is made of box iron. The body is made of welding steel plates. The faucet and spindle nose of screw shaft are made of pig iron set which is wear-resisting durable. The take-up sets include two types power-driven and manual operation.

  1. It can be used to separate the undesired stone powder in the dry type machine-made sand making process, which helps control the stone powder content in the machine-made sand.
  2. It is suitable for dry type sand making line of large and medium scale.
  3. The quality of stone powder is easy to control, and the fineness adjustment is more convenient, flexible and reliable.
  4. The content of stone powder of 0.00-0.75mm is adjustable from 2% to 15%.
  5. With tiles inside, it needs little repair.
  6. It is easy to operate with variable-frequency control technology.
