Manganese Ore commonly includes pyrolusite(MnO2), psilomelane, manganite (Mn2O3*H20). Theoretically, the high grade of pyrolusite can be to 63.19%, density 4.5-5.0. Manganese Ore has weak magnetism and usually it may dirty hands, but the primary manganese ore is clean.

Technology Advantage

Generally it adopts one close-circuit two process crushing, one close-circuit two process grinding, magnetic and gravity separation process.
The detailed process is as follows: under the raw material bin there should set a feeder, the raw material is sent to the rough crusher then to the fine crusher, after that, the fine material is transferred to the screen. At this process, the material on the screen(big granules) will go back to the fine crusher for a second crushing. And the material below the screen is acceptable product which can be transferred to the fine ore bin. Under the bin there should be a feeder, the fine ore is send to the first stage ball mill by the belt conveyor, further to the second stage ball mill. Then the material comes to the hydrocyclones. The setting material in the hydrocyclones goes back to the second stage mill for a further grinding. Material in the hydrocyclones overflows to the high gradient high intensity magnetic separation, while the dregs go back to the grinding system. The strong magnetic ore concentrate is sent to the shaking table for gravity concentration. In this stage, the finial ore concentrate is separated out, and it comes to the settling pond to dehydrate. Tailings from the high gradient high intensity magnetic separation and gravity concentration are dehydrated together in the setting pond, and then are sent to the tailing pond.

Production Instance

A 20TPH primary manganese ore production line in India. This project has high efficiency by adopting the above technical process. After stable production, the grade of manganese concentrate is more than 42%, the comprehensive metal recovery rate is 80% or more, which has huge economic benefits.
